The numbers your child is up against

South Africa’s matric pass rate keeps climbing. The quality of those passes tells a different story. Here is what every parent in Hammanskraal needs to know before it is too late to act.

The Problem
0%

Only 5.3% of Gauteng learners achieved distinctions in 2024. That means 95 out of every 100 missed the mark. Your child’s school probably celebrates a 60% pass rate. Thuto Optimiser targets 80% and above.

What It Costs Them
0%

Unemployment rate for matric holders who do not reach university. University graduates cut that risk to 23.9%. The gap between passing and excelling is the gap between a career and a queue.

The Solution
R500

Structured sessions every weekend. Same tutor, same group, same method. Past papers from Grade 10. Mastery before progression. All 3 subjects in your child’s stream. December and January sessions free.

Spaces are limited per school. Enrol now.

Distinctions are the expectation. Not the exception.

Most tutoring helps your child keep up. Thuto Optimiser is built to pull them ahead. We work from DBE past papers from day one, use mastery-based progression, and measure every learner against the distinction mark. Not the pass mark.

Sessions run every weekend in Hammanskraal. Small groups. Same tutor. Consistent method. Monthly progress reports on WhatsApp so you always know where your child stands.

Mastery before progression
Your child does not move forward until they prove they understand the current topic
Past paper immersion from Grade 10
We work backwards from real DBE exam questions, not textbooks alone
The same tutor, every week
Consistency builds trust, and trust accelerates learning
January head start
Your child starts the school year 2 to 4 weeks ahead of their classmates
Monthly WhatsApp reports to you
You see your child’s progress every month. No surprises.
